U.S. Department of Education - FSA Training Conference 2026

In 2026, the U.S. Department of Education hosted its first in-person Federal Student Aid Training Conference since 2019—marking a powerful return to connection, collaboration, and shared purpose across the financial aid community. I had the honor of serving as the Lead Project Coordinator for this national convening, guiding the planning and execution of a complex, large-scale event that was especially meaningful to me as a former financial aid administrator.

On day three of the conference, I had the distinct privilege of opening the general session and introducing the Chief Operating Officer of Federal Student Aid. Standing at the podium in that moment represented more than a professional milestone—it reflected a full-circle journey rooted in service, leadership, and a deep commitment to supporting the institutions and professionals who serve students every day.

As reflected in this moment, I am confident and comfortable engaging with diverse audiences—whether facilitating high-level conversations, delivering remarks, or creating space for meaningful dialogue. Public speaking is not only a skill I’ve developed over time, but a platform I genuinely enjoy, allowing me to connect, inspire, and lead with authenticity.
