Understanding Coaching

  • A coach is a growth partner — someone who helps you get clear on what you want, understand what’s holding you back, strengthen your mindset, and take intentional action toward your goals.

  • If you’ve never worked with a coach before, here’s what that means in real terms:

    - I help you see yourself and your patterns more clearly.

    - I support you in building confidence, courage, grounding, and direction.

    - I ask powerful questions that help you uncover your own answers.

    - I provide structure, accountability, and clarity.

    - I help you move from “I feel stuck” to “I know exactly what I need to do next”.

    - I walk alongside you as you grow — not ahead of you or above you.

Coaching is a collaborative, future-focused process that helps you evolve into the most grounded, confident, aligned version of yourself.

  • Coaching with me includes both conversation and concrete tools you can use outside of our sessions.

    You can expect things like:

    - Personalized worksheets

    - Reflection prompts

    - Action guides

    - Coaching lesson plans tailored to your goals

    - Resource lists

    - Mindset frameworks

    - Leadership tools

    - Confidence-building exercises

    - Accountability check-ins

    - Written summaries or next steps

    - Recommended reading, podcasts, or practices

    - Optional journaling assignments

  • A life coach helps you develop as a whole person—your mindset, identity, habits, confidence, clarity, and emotional grounding.

A professional or executive coach helps you grow in your workplace context—leadership, communication, decision-making, career transitions, and professional confidence.

I can do both. We can focus on one or blend them, depending on your unique needs.

  • Therapists help you process the past and address mental health. Coaches help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and action.

I do not diagnose, treat, or provide mental health care.

I also have a close network of mental health professionals I can recommend. If I ever believe therapy should come first or should happen alongside coaching, I will tell you honestly.

What to Expect in Coaching

  • A session usually includes grounding, exploring your current challenge, identifying patterns, tools, reframes, and next steps.

    - Treat your goals like they matter.

  • You’ll receive an email with reflection questions to guide our conversation.

  • Bring an open mind, willingness to be honest, a commitment to growth, and something to take notes with.

  • Coaching is primarily virtual. However, depending on your location, in-person options may be available.
